The program is open to early-stage founders aged 18–35 who are based in Denmark. You can apply if you have an idea, prototype, or early-stage project that addresses a systemic challenge such as climate, democracy, social justice, community or food systems. You don’t need a polished concept or previous experience — just motivation, curiosity, and a willingness to grow with the support of a mentor.
You can apply individually or as a team. If you apply as a team, one of you will be matched with a mentor to keep the relationship focused and personal, but team members are welcome to join the sessions, activities, and overall journey. The goal is to maintain a strong, intentional 1:1 mentorship dynamic while still supporting co-founders who want to grow together.
You should expect to spend around three to five hours per week on the program. This includes your bi-weekly mentoring sessions, peer-learning circles, short weekly exercises, and time to work independently on research, prototyping, or testing. The structure is designed to be manageable alongside studies or part-time work, while still giving you enough momentum to make meaningful progress.
Selection focuses on motivation, commitment, and openness. We’re not looking for the most advanced or “perfect” ideas. Instead, we want founders who will genuinely benefit from mentorship, guidance, and a structured process. What matters most is why you care about your idea, whether you are ready to engage actively, and whether you are excited to learn and explore with your mentor.
Your mentor match will be announced during the in-person kickoff event in Copenhagen. We intentionally reveal the matches at the launch so everyone begins the journey together, meets in person, and starts the relationship in a shared space. If, once the program begins, you feel that the match is not the right fit, we will be moderating the process closely. You can reach out to us at any time, and we will support you in finding a better match if needed. Our priority is to ensure that each mentorship relationship feels safe, constructive, and aligned.
By the end, you will have a clearer and more validated idea, early prototypes or user feedback, and a grounded sense of direction for your next steps. You will also leave with a small community of founders, mentors, and advisors, as well as ongoing access to the Meaningful Entrepreneurship digital toolkit. Many founders continue meeting with their mentors informally, join alumni activities, or apply to other programs such as the Residency at Nordhus. This mentorship journey is meant to be your foundation and your starting point.
Yes. The program begins with an in-person kickoff meetup in Copenhagen so you can meet your peers and start building relationships from day one. Although mentoring sessions usually take place online, you are welcome to meet your mentor in person whenever location and schedules allow. Many mentors are based in Denmark, so offline meetings can happen naturally when it works for both sides.
The program is conducted in English. You do not need perfect English, just enough comfort to participate in conversations and collaborative sessions.
The program is free of any charge. However, to ensure commitment, all selected participants agree to a 1,000 DKK no-show fee. This fee is only applied if a participant repeatedly fails to show up, misses mentoring sessions, or does not engage in the essential activities of the program. It exists simply to protect mentors’ time and to ensure that everyone who joins is genuinely committed to the journey.
For this first cohort, the program is primarily designed for founders based in Denmark, or at least for those who can attend the in-person kickoff in Copenhagen and reliably participate in the weekly sessions. Because the mentors, networks, and community are rooted in the Danish ecosystem, being locally present makes a meaningful difference in how much you’ll get out of the experience. In the future, we expect the program to become more internationally open, but for this edition we are focusing on building a strong, place-based community in Denmark.
Applications open: November 21st, 2025
Deadline: December 21st, 2025
We review applications on an ongoing basis and encourage you to apply early. We fill the 20 available spots as we find the right fit, so spaces may be filled before the final deadline.
We’re looking for inspiring founders and experienced professionals to share their experiences, offer guidance, and help the next generation of purpose-driven founders move from intention to action.
